Q: How many photos will I receive?
A: This varies depending on the event, but we typically deliver 25-50 photos per hour of the event per photographer. Other situations, such as headshot sittings, can be discussed in advance to meet expectations.
Q: How will my photos be delivered?
A: We deliver photos digitally. We typically provide the photos at a web appropriate resolution (up to 2048 pixels on the longest side) as well as at their full resolution (up to 24 megapixels, depending on crop). You are welcome to print the photos yourself, or we can get them printed for you for an additional charge.
Q: How may I use my photographs?
A: According to U.S. law, the photographer retains the full copyright of images they capture. We provide you a license to use or print the photos any way you see fit, including for commercial use, with no expiration. Our only stipulation is that you do not edit the image beyond cropping and resizing without the written consent of Christopher Brian Photography. This ensures that what gets seen is the fairest representation of our work and we are happy to make most edits for you.
Q: What is included with basic editing versus advanced?
A: For photos, Basic Editing ensures the exposure and color balance are corrected, and the photo may be cropped to enhance composition or satisfy usage needs. Advanced Retouching includes skin retouching, background object removal, stylistic colorization, and other advanced techniques. All images presented on this website qualify as Basic Editing.
Q: Why would I want to hire an additional photographer?
A: An additional photographer is very valuable to have for large events or events with critical moments to capture. A second photographer ensures your event can be recorded from every angle.
Q: Can I hire you for a wedding?
A: Sorry, we do not cover weddings at this time.
Q: Can I hire you for headshots or group photos?
A: Yes, our pricing for these services is covered by our standard rates. We do highly recommend Advanced Retouching for headshot sessions which typically runs $5 per delivered photo.
Q: What if I am not satisfied with my photos?
A: We work hard to ensure our photographs reflect the spirit and importance of your event. Nevertheless, every event is unique and presents its own challenges. Your satisfaction is our greatest concern and we will work with you to reach a solution that satisfies you or your money back.
